The natural world is an endless source of inspiration. I find that it only takes stepping off the pavement to remember something ancient and fundamental to existence, something I try to remember when I head back into the world of screens, cars and the noise of modern life. When I head to these places, I enjoy the challenge of creating images that express the emotion of the space. When done well, the result can lead the imagination of the viewer to a place where they can feel some of what it was like to be there creating the image.
